I grew up hiking, fishing, and exploring long before I ever picked up a camera. My curiosity extended beyond the outdoors, drawing me to documentaries and photography that introduced me to new places and cultures.
That curiosity became the foundation for everything I do. Picking up a camera gave me a new way to experience the world, connect with people, and share those experiences through storytelling.
I was born and raised in Austin, Texas, and attended the University of Texas, where I studied Radio, Television and Film. During my time there, I focused on cinematography, documentary filmmaking, and visual storytelling.
After graduating, I moved to Los Angeles and joined the crew of NBC's Brooklyn Nine-Nine. While comedy television wasn't where I expected to begin my career, working on a major production gave me invaluable experience and shaped the way I approach filmmaking today.
Four years later, I moved to New Mexico, where I found my way back behind a camera and rediscovered my passion for telling stories in the outdoors.
Today, I live in Springfield, Missouri, where I've been fortunate to direct, produce, edit, and capture content for national outdoor brands, conservation organizations, and retailers all around the country.
The experiences I’ve had with a camera have shaped not only my career, but who I am as a person. That’s why I believe visual storytelling has the power to inspire people to connect with the outdoors and see the world from a new perspective.
